The best kurash competition of the year was the Asian Kurash Championship. On March 17-21 Asian Senior Kurash Championship was held in Dushanbe at a high level.

According to the agreement between the International Kurash Association Kurash Confederation of Asia ( KCAO) and the Organizing Committee of the 2022 Asian Games, Asian Kurash Senior Championship will be held in Hangzhou, China. The Continental Championship, international refereeing seminar on kurash, as well as exams for the 1 star level, are scheduled for April 25-29, 2023.

During these two championships, 400 units of yaktaks were distributed among all participants and national federations free of charge. The Kurash Confederation of Asia and Oceania also plans to hold prestigious kurash championships, seminars and international tournaments in 2023.
