The Asian Kurash Championship will be held in Hangzhou

According to the agreement between the International Kurash Association Kurash Confederation of Asia ( KCAO) and the Organizing Committee of the 2022 Asian Games, Asian Kurash Senior Championship will be held in Hangzhou, China.
The Continental Championship, international refereeing seminar on kurash, as well as exams for the 1 star level, are scheduled for April 25-29, 2023.
A number of online meetings were held through Zoom platform between the Secretary General, Technical Director of the International Kurash Association Mohammad Reza Nassiri and members of the Organizing Committee of the 2022 Asian Games in Hangzhou. In the process of communication, many organizational issues were agreed upon. Athletes from all Asian kurash federations in 15 weight categories can take part in the Asian Championship. Competition will be held at the Linpu Sports Complex in Hangzhou. It is expected that the refereeing seminar and exams, anti-doping tests will also take place in this sports complex.
As you all know September 23 to October 8, 2023, the XIX Asian Summer Games will be held in Hangzhou. Kurash is also officially included in the program of the Asian Olympic Games. The competitions will be held on October 3-5 at the Linpu Sports Complex.
