International Kurash Association has determined the Best of the year in various categories based on the results of 2022.
Today Kurash federations operate in more than one hundred and forty countries. International Kurash Association and its continental kurash confederation like Asian-Oceanic, European, Pan-American and African Kurash Confederations hold world and continental championships and international kurash tournaments at a high level.
The year 2022 was also rich in kurash events.
Within the framework of the National Association of Olympic Committees (ANOC), held in Seoul of South Korea, an agreement was reached on the inclusion of kurash in the African Youth Games during a meeting between the President of the International Kurash Association, Director General of the Asian Games of the Asian Olympic Council Haider Farman and the President of the African Olympic Committees Mustafa Berraf.
This event became the main event of the year by the International Kurash Association.
Now, kurash competitions will be held within the framework of the Youth Games of Asia and Africa.

Umid Esanov defeated the Iranian rival Umid Taztak by the method of "ICHKI YUKLAMA" and earned an honest assessment in the final of the Asian Championship in the 81 kg weight category, which was held in Dushanbe.

The most important event of the year is the achievement of a successful agreement on the official inclusion of Kurash in the program of the African and European Youth Games.

During the year, International Kurash Institute held 12 seminars: 7 online, 5 offline international kurash coaches and 1 refereeing seminars. In total, about 1400 athletes, coaches and referees from more than 70 national kurash federations attended these seminars.
The best kurash competition of the year was the Asian Kurash Championship.
On March 17-21 Asian Senior Kurash Championship was held in Dushanbe at a high level.
More than 200 athletes from 24 Asian countries took part in the championship. This is 2 times more than compare to previous championships.
