September 6 is a precious day for all Kurash fans around the world! We widely celebrate this day as World Kurash Day. Exactly 22 years ago, the International Kurash Association was established, and our favorite sport was recognized as an international sport.

The Most difficult refereeing that I did was the Finals in Termez between Abdullah Tangeriev( Kurash Legend ) from Uzbekistan and his young apponent from kazakestan. Where a technique was executed the public believed it was for the Uzbek , but it was for the Kazak and referees aproved my decission even though I did not have a good feeling but I awarded to Kazak and he won, and as I believe it was the last time that Mr.Tangeriev competed in Kurash.

The news that will take part in the 2021 Asian Indoor and Martial Arts Program in Bangkok, Thailand and the 2022 Summer Asian Games in China has delighted us all.

I founded the Chinese Taipei Kurash Federatio under the Ministry of the Interior. And reapply for recognition from the Ministry of Sports and Chinese TaipeiOlympic Committee. Chinese Taipei Kurash Federation is an official federation in Taiwan.

The competition will be hosted by Thailand in the first half of 2021 and will be held in Bangkok and Pattaya with the participation of 24 sports.

I have been participating in all Kurash competitions since I was young. I also had defeats. However, when I do “over the head” my opponent in a beautiful way and won an honest victory, dozens of people turned the circle and lifted me on their shoulders many times. This is actually the greatest achievement of a Kurash player.

The International Kurash Association is adamant that this unprecedented and challenging time will pass very soon and we all would be able to return to normal flow of life. However, today it is crucial to put safety and health first and cease all public events, competitions and joint trainings.

At the end of my trip, I came to the conclusion I needed. Today, the World Kurash Family is approaching nearly 140 country- members. Many of them, which developing steadily and receiving the support from their goverment, which they have deserve. But, unfortunately, they are those, which still not yet much developing and they are not even trying to do it by themselves.

This year on February 8-10, Pattaya held the training for Thailand referees. The seminar was attended by 20 strongest referees, from about 10 provinces of the Kingdom of Thailand.

This year the IKA’s Directing Committee determined best events, athletes and officials in ten different nominations judging their overall performance and contribution to Kurash promotion in their respective countries, continents and in the world.
