Dear Friends!
Today, we are experiencing the most challenging, alarming days.
It is no secret that the coronavirus poses a threat to the entire population of the planet.
However, even in such moments, we have a lot of events that lift our spirits and give us hope for a brighter and happier tomorrow.
September 6 is a precious day for all Kurash fans around the world! We widely celebrate this day as World Kurash Day.
Exactly 22 years ago, the International Kurash Association was established, and our favorite sport was recognized as an international sport.
In the past years, our lovely Kurash has penetrated into about 140 countries around the world and is developing rapidly.
With the support of the Government of Uzbekistan and the Olympic Council of Asia, it has been included in the program of the Asian Summer Games, the Asian Beach Games and the Asian Indoor & Martial Art Games. Now it's time for the Olympics!
Everyone of you are deserving of the achievements! You are making a great contribution to the development of Kurash in your homeland.
I express my sincere gratitude to all of you for such a great hardwork.
Today, on such a wonderful day, on the occasion of our beloved Kurash Day, I sincerely congratulate all of you.
I wish you good health and success in your honorable work.
I wish that we will be together soon in coming days enjoying the uncompromising Kurash events where we will share to each other sincere wishes.
Happy World Kurash Day to all of you!
Komil Ruziev,
IKA Vice President,
KCAO President.
