The official opening ceremony of the XV Asian Championship took place

The ceremony, organized at the “Dushanbe Tennis Palace and Water Sport Complex,” was attended by leaders of state and sports organizations, representatives of international sports organizations, honored guests, athletes, and thousands of fans.

The event was opened by the First Deputy Mayor of Dushanbe, Sharifi Bakhtiyor. In his congratulatory speech, he warmly welcomed all participants, officials, and guests, emphasizing that it is a great honor for Tajikistan to host this prestigious continental championship.

Also speaking was the President of the Kurash Confederation of Asia, Komil Ruziev, who expressed sincere gratitude to the Government of the Republic of Tajikistan, the Committee for Youth and Sports, the Tajikistan Kurash Federation, and all organizers for their efforts aimed at organizing the championship at a high level.

The Chairman of the Committee for Youth and Sports under the Government of the Republic of Tajikistan, Shokirzoda Muhammadtolib, also congratulated the participants at the ceremony and wished the competition to be successful and full of bright memories for all athletes.

After the congratulatory speeches, the First Deputy Mayor of Dushanbe, Sharifi Bakhtiyor, officially declared the XV Asian Senior Kurash Championship open. Following this, the National Anthem of the Republic of Tajikistan and the official anthem of the International Kurash Association were played.

One of the most impressive moments of the ceremony was the parade of participating countries. Delegations from 24 Asian countries were introduced, and the national flags of the countries were raised.

The artistic part of the celebration featured national songs and dances reflecting the rich cultural heritage of the Tajik people. The colorful performances gave a true festive mood to the championship participants and guests.

Gathering the strongest athletes of Asia, the XV Asian Championship, with its official opening ceremony, presented unforgettable moments to sports fans.
