The best female Kurash player of Asia in the homeland of Kurash!

The winners in a number of nominations for the last year's best was announced by Kurash Confederation of Asia-Oceania.

The winner of the nomination, "The Best Female Kurash player of the Year", was Yang Hsien-tzu (Yang Hsien-tzu) from Chinese Taipei Kurash Federation.
Yang Hsien-tzu was born on March 19, 1985 in the city of Tianan of the Chinese Taipei. At the age of 5, she started attending gymnastics. At the age of 11, she was accepted to a special sports school. She is a several times champion of country in Kurash and Sambo sports.
She was participant of the International Kurash Tournament which was held in 2005 and she is two-times World Champion.
Moreover, she won a gold medal of V-Asian Indoor Games and Martial Arts which was held in Ashgabat, Turkmenistan, in 2017 by overcoming all her competitors for the weight category of 78 KG.

Chinese Taipei national team is currently holding training preparation camp in Tashkent for Asian Kurash Championship in Pune, India which will be held at 22-25 March, and to prepare for the Summer Asian Games in Jakarta, Indonesia

The training sessions are being held with the members of the national team of Uzbekistan. The representatives of our country are involved in trainings with two components.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

"I am glad that I have visited homeland of Kurash", said Yang Hsien-tzu. Kurash is a source of inspiration for me, and this type of sport helps me to test my will. Our team has a great respect for Uzbekistan, which has given Kurash to the world”.

The training camp is scheduled to end on March 20 and our wrestlers will fly to India on March 21.
