On September 4-8, the Asian Junior Kurash Championship will be held in Chonburi, Thailand.

Yesterday, the technical commission led by the technical director of the Kurash Confederation Asia-Oceania, Mr. Koroush Khosroyar, inspected the sports complex of Katserat University, where the competitions will be held.

Katserat University is the most prestigious educational institution in the Kingdom of Thailand.

Established in 1902 by King Chulalongkorn for the purpose of developing the silk, silver and textile industries, this University currently has about 87,000 students.

The sports complex of this University hosts a big kurash festival for 4 days.

The technical director of KCAO got acquainted with the sports complex, hotel, transport, catering, seminar halls for referees.

He gave instructions to the organizers about the issues that should be changed and the things that should be done.

It should be noted that the Thai Kurash Association is making extensive preparations for the continental junior championship.

Today, more than 100 employees and volunteers are working in the organizing committee.

We remind you that the competitions will be held on September 6-7. Tomorrow, September 5th, there will be a seminar for referees, a technical meeting, a draw and a referee exam for the IKA 1-2 star level.
