More than 200 representatives from national federations of about 20 countries of the continent are arriving in Iran to participate in the 13th Asian Championship hosted by the city of Tehran.
Today in the official reception hall of the Imam Khomeini International Airport, a welcoming ceremony was held for the President of the International Kurash Association Haider Farman and the President of the Asian Kurash Confederation Komil Ruziev.
President of the Iranian Wushu Federation, head of the organizing committee of the championship Amir Sedighi, head of the Administration of the International Kurash Association Mansur Mirzaev, the leadership of the Iranian Kurash Federation, employees of the Embassy of Uzbekistan in Tehran and representatives of the mass media took part in the ceremony.
The Presidents of IKA and KCA were briefed by the head of the organizing committee of the Asian Championship about the preparations for the championship and the work done.
Mr. Farman expressed confidence that the continental championship hosted by Iran will be one of the most spectacular and historic competitions.
