The election of the Kurash Federation of Uzbekistan was held today.
At the conference, organized in the Ministry of Sports of the Republic of Uzbekistan’s meeting hall, discussed further popularization of Kurash in the country, the achieved results and future plans.
At the meeting, chaired by The First Deputy Chairman of the Federation Bakhtiyor Kadirov, it was announced that systematic work is being carried out to support the development of Kurash in the International arena, to create the necessary infrastructure.
In the conference, Discussion took place about organizational issues. As a result of a votes of Delegates, the General Prosecutor of the Republic of Uzbekistan Nigmatulla Yuldashev was re-elected to the position of Chairman of Kurash Federation of Uzbekistan for a new five-year term.
For reference: Nigmatulla Yuldashev in the past held different positions in the governmental body acting in positions such as Chairman of the Senate of the Republic of Uzbekistan, Minister of Justice.
