More than 200 Kurash players in 15 weight categories came onto carpet to compete. At the end of the competitions, winners from 8 countries of the continent took the podium. The men's and women's teams of Uzbekistan have earned the highest results. The team members won 10 gold, 5 silver and 1 bronze medals in total. Iran and Turkmenistan teams ended the tournament with 2nd and 3rd best results, respectively. Vietnam, Chinese Taipei and India teams also occupied higher positions.

The Confederation operates on the basis of regional federations, based on the experience from world sports, for the common development and promotion of Kurash in all territories of both continents. In 2018, five regional federations such as South Asia, West Asia, East Asia, Central Asia and South East Asian federations will be established in the Asian continent. The Presidents of mentioned regional federations will be considered as Vice-Presidents of Kurash Confederation of Asia-Oceania on their respective territories.
