Muhammad Rеza Nassiri Secretary General of the International Kurash Association, Technical Director: For the world community, in 2022 kurash was very rich. We have fulfilled the plan that we set at the beginning of 2022

All this was achieved thanks to the support of the Government of Uzbekistan, the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan, the Honorary President of the International Kurash Association Shavkat Mirziyoyev.
Today, thanks to funding from the Government, kurash is developed at a new stage.
The continental championships among adults and youth were organized by all continental confederations. This figure is 2 times more than in previous years.
In addition, the Southeast Asian Games held in Vietnam, the Asian Children’s Games in Vladivostok showed a high level of competition.
International Kurash Weeks held in India, the Dominican Republic and the Congo.
In addition, one of the most important event is that kurash now also takes place in the program of the African Game.
Positive agreements were reached on the inclusion of kurash in the program of the African Youth Games and the Pan American Caribbean Games.
The main event in which the International Kurash Association takes first place in the calendar plan, is the World Senior Kurash Championship held in the Indian city of Pune.
The biggest achievement at the World Kurash Championship was the participation of about 400 participants of 70 countries. As part of the championship, 10 new federations were included as part of the International Kurash Association.
So, next year our plans and goals are huge.
In 2023, the official competitions of the Asian Summer Games, the Asian Indoor and Martial Arts Games, the Southeast Asian Games and the African Games will be held.
In addition, the World Junior Kurash Championship is planned to be held in Ashgabat, the capital of Turkmenistan.
