Today the President of the International Kurash Association Haider Farman visited the National Olympic Committee of Uzbekistan where he held talks with Rustam Shaabdurakhmanov, the chairman of the NOC. .

Rector of the International Kurash Institute, First Deputy Prosecutor General of Uzbekistan Bahriddin Valiev, IKA Vice President Ziyoviddin Khodjiniyazov, IKA General Secretary Umid Yakubov, NOC First Vice Chairman Ravshan Irmatov, NOC Vice Chairman Aziz Kamilov and NOC General Secretary Oybek Kasimov were also present at the meeting.

During the meeting Mr. Farman expressed gratitude to the NOC leadership for their assistance in the successful holding of the International tournament in Termez, as well as for their continued assistance in the development of Kurash in the global arena.

Mr. Shaabdurakhmanov introduced the guest to the work being done in Uzbekistan on the development of sport and the preparation for the Asian Youth Games to be held in Tashkent in 2025.

Then, the IKA President Haider Farman had talks with the Rector of the International Kurash Institute Bahriddin Valiev, where plans for intensive development of the Institute's activities to train personnel necessary for the effective growth of Kurash in the world were defined. Mr. Farman expressed the International Kurash Association's gratitude to Mr. Valiev for his comprehensive support of the activities of the International Kurash Institute.
